Custom New Build Design

I was originally hired by my client to help him select all the interior finishes and products for his new home build project. Once we started working together, he immediately brought me in to assist in all aspects of this new build design construction project.

This house was purchased as a single-story bungalow and was torn down to build a new two-story dream home for my client. They actually kept and built onto the existing foundation. This new home is equipped with an open concept main floor, master bedroom suite, 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, laundry on the second floor & in the finished basement, as well as a dumb-waiter.

Design Details

The main floor is an open concept with a kitchen, bar, dining, foyer, powder, and living room with a two-story cathedral ceiling. The large floor to ceiling windows is a gorgeous feature that brings in so much natural light it’s fantastic. In addition to this open concept main floor design, there is a large open riser staircase with glass railings that takes you up to the mezzanine overlooking the living room. It is quite the space, and the view from the mezzanine to the exterior is stunning.

The home wouldn’t be complete without a Control 4 home automation system that controls the lighting, music, and window treatments. YES! That is right, the living room blinds and kitchen draperies are all automated and can be operated with a switch!

Lighting & Furniture

The decorative pendants and chandelier offer rich black and brass finishes. The chandelier features an oversized X pattern detail to provide a substantial, yet simple, a statement piece for this gorgeous custom walnut casted dining table set. When we saw this dining table, my client had to purchase it!
